Speech Pathologist | Contractor | West Melbourne | NDIS/Community Available
 

Australian Health Professionals are expanding in the West Melbourne, now offering an attractive contractor position with freedom to structure and organise when you attend to referrals. Your roster with AHP is flexible and designed to work around your current commitments and lifestyle.   
 
The Role: As a Speech Pathologist you will work as part of a multidisciplinary Allied Health team to deliver specialised, person-centred therapy that supports independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. This role offers the flexibility to work across residential aged care facilities and/or NDIS participant homes and communities, allowing you to structure your schedule around your lifestyle. Most referrals will involve providing swallowing and speech assessment, and therapy to a mixed caseload across the NDIS.

• Roster: Pick your shifts/available referrals between Monday to Friday! Flexible start and finish times! On-going therapy also available!
• Location: Melbourne West VIC - Keilor E, Albanvale, Brookfield, Sunshine, Wyndham Vale, Airport West, Strathtulloh. 
• Mixed-case load available - Peds/adults, only attend what you feel comfortable with - ASD/ID/GDD/Mental health. 
• No independent KPI structures! 
• Hourly Rate: $100/hour (ABN) depending on experience 
• Flexible commencement date! 
• Work alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team!

Skills & Requirements: 

• Qualification as a Speech Pathologist & SPA Registration. 
• Two successful clinical references. 
• Active ABN, including professional indemnity and public liability insurance.  
• NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to apply). 
• National Police Check within the last two years.  
• Own car & drivers licence.  
• x2 COVID-19 Vaccinations + 1 booster =3.
