OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST | Contractor | Community work and/or Aged Care | Dubbo NSW!

The Role: This position provides the flexibility to structure and organise your schedule around your lifestyle. There are no minimum shift requirements or individual KPIs. You will have the freedom to decide when to attend referrals, must be available during the week. 

• Start date: ASAP/Flexible
• Support at home - Community work available - Dubbo NSW!
• Rate: $85-100 per hour (ABN/Contractor only)
• Flexible roster: Pick and choose when you work
• Training and orientation provided by regional managers, including on-going management support and check-ins

Most referrals will involve organising equipment trials, completing follow-up trials, and compiling reports in residential aged care. You will work with various funding sources, including HCP, facility funded, private insurance, and rarely DVA (excluding NDIS).
  
Examples of referrals may include:

• Pressure care
• Seating assessments
• Assistive devices (splints, ADL equipment)
• Functional evaluations

Skills & Requirements:

• Qualification as an Occupational Therapist, and General AHPRA Registration
• Experience in community/aged care OT services or experience with wheelchair/ seating prescription, home environment assessments etc
• One-two successful references
• NDIS Workers Screening Check, + National Police Check (within the last two years)
• COVID-19 Vaccinations (x2 shots and x1 booster)
• Full working rights in Australia
• Ensure high communication is met with your regional manager and rostering team
