Occupational Therapist | Contractor | Melbourne West | Community/NDIS and/or Aged Care available!

Australian Health Professionals are expanding in Melbourne Western suburbs, now offering an attractive contractor position with freedom to structure and organise when you attend to referrals. Your roster with AHP is flexible and designed to work around your current commitments and lifestyle.    
 

The Role: As an Occupational Therapist, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary Allied Health team to deliver specialised, person-centred therapy that supports independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. This role offers the flexibility to work across residential aged care facilities and/or NDIS participant homes and communities, allowing you to structure your schedule around your lifestyle. 

There are no minimum shift requirements or individual KPIs, giving you autonomy and flexibility while working within a supportive Allied Health framework. 

  • Roster: Pick your shifts between Monday to Friday! Flexible start and finish times!  
  • Location: Melbourne West, up to 30mins drive surrounds. Current locations: Hoppers Crossing, Melton, Melton South, Werribee, Truganina, Strathtulloh.
  • No independent KPI structures! 
  • Hourly Rate: $85–$100/hour (ABN) depending on experience/setting. 
  • Flexible commencement date! 
  • Work alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team!  

Most referrals will involve providing occupational therapy assessments, and therapy, to a mixed caseload across the NDIS and/or residential aged care setting with various funding sources.

Skills & Requirements: 

  • Qualification as an Occupational Therapist & General AHPRA Registration. 
  • Two successful clinical references. 
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to apply). 
  • National Police Check within the last two years.  
  • Own car & drivers licence.  
  • x2 COVID-19 Vaccinations + 1 booster =3. 
  • 2026 flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain).
